For some reason my comp is running REALLY slow. When i hit start it takes like 20 seconds for the programs to popup and then when i enter a website its as if I am on dial up. I am running a P4 1.8 with 128ram and also have a T1 line connection. So it should be really quick. The GUY next to me has the same comp and itsrunning fast and fine. also we both get this offer optimizer thing that comes up 100 times a day. 128Mb RAM is way too low for most purposes. What operating system are you using?Scan for viruses, SPYWARE and trojans.
Better maintain your PC.I had the same problem with my computer running slower than slow and it turned out to be the round IDE cables that came with the motherboard. I replaced tham with ribbon cables and that solved the problem.
