Solve : My Documents Randomly Cleared... ANY HELP????

I got on my computer today to find the My Documents folder completely empty. All my files are gone.

None of my other files were affected, only those in My Documents.

I had files there I desperatly need.

Has anyone heard of this before? Is it a virus? Is there anything I can do?

Thanks for the help!What kind of antviirus/antispyware/antiadware/trojan CLEANERS did you have in place and being used regularly? Does anyone ELSE have access to this computer? A few more DETAILS please. Have you looked in the recycle bin? What OPERATING sstem?
