Solve : My life has been flushed down the toilet? |

Answer» Ok, please help. I shut down my XP last night and now when it boots up I get the login screen, as I type the password it shows verticle lines instead of little circles, and then a box pops up with.... not letters, but symbols...garbage. Thats as far as I can go. By pressing F 8 at startup safe mode will come on, but no matter which mode is selected, it goes to the WINDOWS login and I get the garbage after entering my password. Too Much information is ok, but too little information is pointless.I need more information. It sounds like your RAM is COMPLETELY fried. Try Linux instead.Street......... It just brings up the Windows login screen. We can get into CMOS:((()))Do you have your windows install disk? Quote from: linuxlover on April 13, 2007, 06:10:39 PM I need more information. MAYBE a repair install. |
