Solve : My pc doesn't want to boot up :(? |
|
Answer» What's the PROBLEM here ?Remove and resit the memory chips and try again. This means either the RAM stick is bad, or could suggest the Power Supply is bad. Should I get an ew ram or a new battery ?I don't see how any issue with the CMOS battery could cause the SYMPTOMS you are experiencing. It can't make things worse, though and it is cheaper than a PSU or new RAM, so whether you want to give it a try is up to you. Thanks for helping me so far, I also think it's not from the cmos battery since I can boot my pc if I disable the graphic adapter so I think it's most likely a problem in the ram. Do u have any idea why did the ram get corrupted ?Quote from: BC_Programmer on September 24, 2015, 07:46:53 AM I don't see how any issue with the CMOS battery could cause the symptoms you are experiencing. Therefore it makes sense to try the quick and economic steps first. You can finds the battery at a drug store, camera shop, or a local dollar tree. It's 3-4 Bucks...i'd have already TRIED it by now...even though it could be the RAM.....what have you lost ? ?Quote from: BC_Programmer on September 23, 2015, 01:23:41 PM This means either the RAM stick is bad, or could suggest the Power Supply is bad.Do u have any idea why did the ram get corrupted ? I think I should know why so it won't happen again and will be pre cautious about it next timeQuote Physical damage creates "hard errors," which can cause hardware or software crashes whenever the affected memory cell is accessed. Unlike soft errors, hard errors are uncorrectable. Hard errors MAY occur as a result of the memory module experiencing EXTREME temperatures, incorrect installation, incompatibility or power surges, according to Cisco.Other sources also say that. |
