Answer» My problem is, after turing on the computer, internet explorer will work fine for a while (sometimes 5-10min) but after CLOSING and trying to re-open internet explorer, my computer freezes. On the IE tab I am in, it says "Connecting" and then freezes. I am OCCASIONALY able to open the task manager and close iexplorer.exe under the PROCESSES menu. But I then notice iexplorer.exe is using about 90% of cpu. Another item I notice is svchost.exe uses up to 70%cpu and fluctuates with the iexplorer.exe PROCESS. I have repaired windows, reinstalled the Winsocks, ran antiviruses (found 3 trojans and REMOVED them), ran Hijackthis (which leaves me about 15 messages about missing files), and also run Adaware multiple times. Help! :-? |
