I am now takeing genius lessons, . .
I can now paste a screenshot on my Acrobat clipboard, . . one Problem, . . . after I have saved the clipboard to my documents file, and delete the other the one I have saved is also deleted ?
What happened ?
Will very much appreciate an answer !!
JpJp....... I'm not certain exactly what it is your doing ....but to TAKE a screen shot, go to and open whatever it is you want the screenshot of.......press print screen key on your keyboard........... now click start/All programs/Accessories/Tools/Paint........ when paint opens, click the Edit button up top and SELECT paste ......... now the screenshot will appear in paint........ click file, then save as ......... ( give it a name) and save it to your desktop . your done ....and you can do do whatever you want with the image you have on your desktop.
I think the problem was you saved the clipboard and as soon as you deleted the original ....... the clipboard would be deleted . ( think of the clipboard as a TEMPORARY thing )
dl65 dl65,
Amazing, . . .Thanks much !
Jpdl65,
Yep, . . it worked and I have some interesting information for you.
I was curious and opened a test mail I mailed myself earlier with the clip board screenshot, and found that after sending you the reply to post that the reply to the post was what I found in the e-mail download containing the clipboard when I opened it, and not the previous pasted piece, ??
Now, I do not suppose that anything LIKE that is going to happen with paint, but, I would like to ask you, when previously in a post, you asked me for a screen shot, . . . the paint I have saved would have been sufficient for what you were asking, correct ?
JpThe clipboard will only hold one item at a time...so if you cut and paste for EXAMPLE whatever was on the clipboard is overwritten...
