Solve : My windows is broken? |

Answer» I am running an HP laptop AMD dual core processor and 2 gigs of ram with Windows Vista SP1. Why have you not updated Windows to SP2? SP2 hasn't been released for Vista.Oops, I didn't read your post CAREFULLY enough. I have a Compaq Presario Notebook with Vista but haven't installed SP1. Can you uninstall SP1? Do you have your important FILES backed up? Quote from: soybean on March 11, 2008, 10:22:01 AM Oops, I didn't read your post carefully enough. All my files are backup up on an external hdd. I can't uninstall SP1 which is what I was going to try and neither can I go back to a previous restore point because my computer won't open the system restore or show me my installed updates. Anyone with any advice on how to do this through command prompt or dos?See, if you have KB936330 update LISTED. If so, uninstall. Where did SP1 come from? Quote from: Broni on March 11, 2008, 11:20:02 AM See, if you have KB936330 update listed. If so, uninstall. I download all my updates straight from Windows Update, also I couldn't find KB936330 though even if I could my computer won't let me uninstall any of the updates.
