Solve : My XP Computer won't boot.?

Answer»

I have a 2005 Dell Demension E510 Series running Win XP Media Edition. One day when I was vaccuming I knocked the POWER cord out of the wall. It's not the first time that has happened. So I plugged it in and turned it on. I let it get to the normal but weird "Missing Floppy Disk Drive" error message. I would always hit F1 to get past it. But now whenever I hit any key on the KEYBOARD, I hear a beep internally in the computer. It does not go past the "Missing Floppy" error screen. Havent been able to use since June 2011. I am stuck using my IMAC G3 from 2001. All I know how to do with the dell is open the tower up. I have no idea where anything is. I have been lately LOOKING in the BIOS but I have no idea what to do in there. Help would be very Appreciated.Quote from: Arvai on October 18, 2011, 03:07:17 PM
