Thanks MartinThere is no driver for optical drives. What exactly is the PROBLEM? Please describe in detail. It won't read a disc or run when the disc is inserted. Hope this is ok Martinhi!
Are u able to c the CD Drive in My Computer? Also check if if attempts to read an autorun CD when booted...
Hope 2 hear from u soon
EdgarNo, not okay.
1) Did this just start or has it always been this way? 2) If it just started, what happened between the last time it worked and the first time it didn't (new hw, sw, virus, error, etc)? 3) Is there a problem with every disc or just one? 4) Does the system see the drive at boot (insert a BOOTABLE disc, make sure the drive is at the top of the boot order in bios, and reboot)? 5) What is the error message you see? 6) Is the device in Disk Management?
