I wanted to do a wipe of my OS and reinstall. I changed my BIOS to boot from CD first and when it attempts to boot it asks me to hit any key to boot from CD. At this point I pound on all kinds of different keys and it seems to not recognize it and boots from hard disk drive. I have tried changing KEYBOARDS and also tried changing the port in which i PLUGGED the keyboard in. Still no luck booting from CD. Can anyone throw me a BONE here?

How old is the computer and what is the make/model of it?Is the keyboard connected to a usb port? If so, have you tried a ps2 port? If that's not available, make sure usb support at boot is available and enabled in bios.
