Hi my laptop recently wiped itself clean SORTA. I was installing a game. didnt have enough room so i uninstalled another game i dont play. After uninstalling the game the computer did something and when i log into my account there is nothing on it. like a brand new computer. theres no word or ne thing just accesories, y computer, and recycle bin. how to find my files again? can i get them back? i dont have recovery disk. You didn't give us much info to WORK with so I will assume your operating system is Windows XP. If this is not the case, disregard the rest of this post and let us know what OS you're USING. Check My Computer -> C:\Documents and Settings\. Poke around in there and see if you can find any documents. ALSO, how did you come to the conclusion that "theres no word or ne thing"? Have you looked at Add/Remove Programs? Computers don't simply wipe themselves clean...post alot more info on the machine, OS and what exactly you did to get to this point.Check "Documents and Settings", all available usernames. If this doesn't help, try running Advanced NTFS Recovery to see if you can recover the DELETED files:
