Answer» I have tried it twice but still produces the same result. In installing win2k on a single partition with WIN98 for dual boot, there is no conflict.But when IVE tried it to winxp, it will erase the existing operating system installed. how will I accomplish the SAID task. thanks and more power.u r tryin to install a new OS, so, u xpect the unexpected... maybe the partition u gave it is too small n the OS are kind of related in their programmin, all it does is to load on the FOUNDATION of the old OS. I think i'm rightDo you want to install Win2K with XP or 98 with XP? I think Win98 would need to be installed before XP... but they would have to be on seperate volumes.
