Good point, Calum. Wishywashy, you should wiggle the monitor cable to SEE if the problem comes and goes. If the cable has a plug at the monitor end, is it tight in its socket? If this an LCD, I'd try reseating the cable. They don't like not being totally secure. But like everyone's saying, your monitor may be going out.Banging on it is ALWAYS a good approach.
