Answer» Hey! Long story short, I reformatted my computer sound didn't work(sound card was like 10 YEARS old.) So I bought a new sound card and I got my sound working just now, but my microphone doesn't work. Any ideas?Have you verified mic is not muted? When you installed the new sound card, did the driver/software you installed put a custom icon in your system tray for sound controls? If so, double click on it to open it and search for a setting to "Boost microphone" or something similar. How do I bring up that window to enable ''Boost?''Down in the bottom right corner, do you see the VOLUME control icon (a little speaker icon)?
