Solve : Need Help With External Harddrive? |

Answer» I have a Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1TB internal harddrive that I converted into a external. I have Vista on my laptop and XP Media Center Service Pack 3 on my desktop. I can not get my external to WORK on the desktop. I connect it to the desktop and it says I need to FORMAT. But it works on my laptop and I cant reformat because I don't want to lose all of my data. It loads fine when plugged into the desktop its says HARDWARE is ready to use but I have to reformat. |
