I need your help here..

I have a gateway laptop with Vista OS...

when it BOOTS up it comes up "Windows Boot MANAGER"

asking for windows installation disc but it did not come with the laptop.

how can I fix that problem?


thanks guys So when you got the laptop it had no Windows OS on it?umm the laptop CAME with vista already on it.

everything was all ready to go when I bought it.

no package of CD's or anything like that

thank YOUARE you under Warranty?yeppers I called them and they SAID that warrenty doe's not cover OS problems only hardware.. go figure eh

Never heard of such a thing... Tell 'em it's a hardware fault - the hard drive's fried.
