Solve : Need help writing a script - Active Directory, OU, Groups? |

Answer» Here's the deal. My corporation creates new users through payroll with a Meta ID which automatically creates an AD account, AS/400 account, and some other things. Apparently there's currently no way to automatically asign newly created users to the "Everyone" group in AD. I was TOLD that I COULD write a script that adds all the user objects in the User OU to a specific group, then just run that script whenever I wanted. Only problem is, I have no clue how to write this script. Any help WOULD be appretiated.Are you trying to do this outside of the scope of your companies IT department?No, I have full control over our facility's OU.Well nevermind I guess.... SOMETIMES I think too much. Apparently all I needed to do was select all users, right click, and add to group... |
