Answer» This problem has been going on ever since I upgraded to XP a long time ago, but I would really like to figure out what the problem is now. When I try to PLAY some videos using my Windows Media PLAYER, the sound comes through distorted...like in slow motion. The picture is fine, just the sound is MESSED up. However, it plays my all my mp3's fine. Someone said that my sound card might not be compatible with XP, and that I need to get a new sound card. Does this sound RIGHT, or do any of you have any other ideas?You can try visiting the sound card mfr's website to download and install the latest driver for your sound card to see if this works. Please POST back with your results.
