it turns on, and is hooked up to the MONITOR, everything is all hooked up its all good. But, when i turn it on, the monitor stays on standby, it doesnt get any VIDEO from the computer. How can i fix this, i really want it to work since i have the wireless internet and stuff so id really like some help on this

id rather get online help, than pay 1000000000$$ at geek squadi really need help with my pc id like to get it working properly againThe first thing to do is try another monitor on that computer and try that monitor on another computer to see where the problem is.
What happened prior to this? What are some specifics on the computer - age, make/model, other problems, etc. Is it onboard video or a video card? If a card you could remove and reinsert the card for STARTS. Any error MESSAGES at all?
