When I watch Hulu, the powersaver goes on and the screen goes dim.  While watching a tv show, I have to keep tapping a key or the scroll pad to fully wake it up to full color. This is sooooo annoying!  How can I stop it from going into powersaver/dim mode?

NC10  Samsung Netbook w/ XPDoes it do this if the AC power is hooked up ? ?Funny U ask.........Nope!  Just when the CORD is out.  So it sounds like there is a setting that does this to save battery
Go to start then CONTROL panel and click on power settings in classic view.  Change it to something else like home/office desktopTHANKS!!!  I changed everything to die out after 2 hours so if I am watching a movie, it wont be effected by power saving.


WOW!!! You guys are great!!!   How the heck do you know all this!!?? My problem is remembering it all.

DeniseGlad its working! Patios first question helped me to think of it.  hmmmmmmmmmmm???    I spoke too soon. It is still DIMMING after I leave it alone for a few minutes.  Any other tips/tricks to stop this dim?  (When I tap anything, it goes back to full light) I don't want to have to do this.Try changing the power scheme.  Try the home/office pc first and if that doesnt work keep trying different ones until it worksI changed to Home/Office when u said to but I will try another. I think one choice was for Laptop. Maybe that one?  Hmmm, we shall see.
