Answer» Ok. I have posted this question on a couple of other forums and it seems people don't read the whole question/explination before answering. They seem to give common answers that BARELY fit my issue. So all I ask is that you read the whole question/explination thanks. (And I'm really not trying to be rude so I hope this request doesn't get lost in translation).
Ok. yes I did something retarded to my computer. I deleted a partition. I have XP and Linus installed on my netbook. I decided I don't need linux on the net book so I thought by deleting the partition it would free up some space. WRONG!! After REBOOTING it gave me a GRUB ERROR and would not let me do anything else. Nothing. Not go into save mode, no re-install option nothing but let me go into BIOS. I went into BIOS trying to just suck it up and re-install. Nope, wont' let me do anything.
So I changed my boot order sequence so it would boot from USB. I was going to attempt to find out how to make a bootable USB drive but after doing this and re-booting the screen won't come on.
Is there a way to install XP on the hard drive while it's in a enclosur. I have the hard drive out and in a enclosure. I plugged it into my main computer and I can access it but not sure what to do now.
Maybe the screen just decided to crap out on me I don't KNOW. But I want to get the hard drive straight then figure out if the screen is dead or not. Can someone give me some explicit instructions on this? I would greatly appreciate it. Have a good night. Quote So I changed my boot order sequence so it would boot from USB. What program did you put on the flash drive? What do you mean "the screen won't come on"? What happens? Can you still get into BIOS?
