Solve : New message display about Vista not being genuine?

Answer»

I recently purchased a Toshiba laptop at a RETAIL store, with Windows Vista installed. I've had it for about 3 weeks, and I just suddenly got a message saying my product KEY was not VALID. I typed my key in, got my computer to start up, but now I have a message in the lower corner of my SCREEN saying my "copy of Windows is not genuine." I don't understand why this suddenly came up and why it won't go away, but what does this mean and how do I fix this? You might have installed some program incompatible with Vista.
Try System Restore. This is a known issue...

There is an 800 # there listed as well...it's best to deal directly with MS to resolve this.
It may be as simple as them issuing you a new key #.
