Hello i recently had a windows vista but i installed windows XP... but now with windows XP i cant connect to the internet .. i was able when i had vista but now i cant.. i tryed to install my wireless driver but still nothing ( i have a adapter usb driver ).. if i cant get this working i think ill have to switch to windows vista but the thing is i DONT have the windows vista cd.. where could i get it ? i got the original cd key and all dat

Where is P-Wood at a time LIKE this ?i have this driver in my CONNECTIONS that it does nothing and doesnt allow me to uninstall it ... right now im formatting my windows xp see if he will still stay there.... i ave 3 computer connected to that modem.. but somehow it doesnt let me connect to it if i just plug in the cable in the port...

if i download the same driver that the working one have might it work ?If the wireless adapter eas designed for vista the drivers might not work. have a look on the manafacturers website and see if they have them up there.

Guessing you are on bigpond as your isp. Have you been able to put your wep or WPA key in your computer yet?If you are re-installing Windows try leaving the network card out this time...then install the drivers after you get XP up and running...
How BOUT some info on the components were talking about such as the modem and card ? ?

Details help.the driver that is on my pc right now is called 1397adapter ,but i never saw this driver b4 the installling the win xp and this computer that is connected to the same network has a different driver .. should i get the driver that is working adn copy it to the one that is having problems ?"
