Answer» I have a 64-bit Windows 7 from HP, product number G60-530US. When I mouse over the speaker ICON in my tray, it says that no AUDIO output device is installed. I've tried reinstalling and updating the driver, and neither worked. I also downloaded HP's driver, but the download failed because it could not find the MEDIA device for the driver.What does Device MANAGER indicate?Under "Sound, video and game controllers" is "Intel(R) High Definition Audio HDMI".No yellow exclamation mark? HP driver says: Conexant High-Definition SmartAudio Driver http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=4041414#N146The download failed because it could not find the media device for the driver.What does downloading have to to with installing the file? I can download the file on to any computer.That's the MESSAGE I get after trying to install.
