Looking Fwd to hear from you and thankyou in advance. I've read your post dozens of times and although I'd like to help you, it's not clear to me where to start. So, I'll start near the beginning with some recommendations.
- configure your PC as closely to the original as you can. Remove any unnecessary additions you have made such as extra drives, etc. Anything that was not original has the potential to kill your restore. Go to the emachines' web SITE for info on the configuration if you're not sure. http://www.emachines.com/support/product_support.html?cat=desktop&subcat=T-Series&model=T2692
- make sure all your connections and cards are seated properly especially the ones you may have dislodged when you installed your latest hardware (power disconnected when you do this).
- try your restore/recovery setup again. If still a problem, follow the troubleshooting steps that are also posted on the emachines' site.
DellHey,
To get into the BIOS on an E-* comp is be pressing the Del key repeatedly untill it comes up, its by default that it does not show the BIOS... Stupid
Remember that this is to be done just as your power up the PC.
I'd hope that Qureshi knows Soda_Taxis personally to accept the comments of
Quote its by default that it does not show the BIOS... Stupid
to go by WITHOUT comment made.
