im new to this forum but i hope someone can help...
recently my task MANAGER has no bar sourounding it - this means i cannot swich between diddernt options or shut it down.
also on a side note - my java has buggerd up. any file sharing programs like limewire no longer work ?
could these be related ?
any help would be greatly apreciated.

Your task manager has gone into tiny footprint mode. DOUBLE click on the border to put it back into normal mode. This has been covered about 6 times here. You should check earlier questions first, or dare i suggest it, type "task manager TABS gone" into Google. Not related to java problems.
Uninstall and reinstall Java maybe?
What makes you so sure that Java is faulty? What brought you to this conclusion?
