Answer» i change the resolution of my monitor, but after RESTARTING i cannot see anything but a black monitor.. the computer works though. I even tried safe MODE F8 but no effect, what should i do? please help thanks..More info would be nice. What Operating System? Can you see ANYTHING from the POINT you press the power button?1) Shut computer down... 2) Attach a different monitor... 3) Reboot... 4) Change screen resolution back to what it was before... 5) Shut down... 6) Re-attach previous monitor... 7) Reboot... Keep us posted...windows xp my OS. i had already attached another monitor but STILL f8 doesnt work. I am running this cptr at the moment with another partition i made, windows xp. i want my home edition xp but i cant get into. black sreen appears after turning the power.So you have two operating system on this machine? What are they?
