Answer» OS - XP Home SP2 512M RAM 30G hdd Won't defragment (see attachment). It defrags about 1%, then goes quickly thru it's paces, then says it can't defrag some files. Also won't go into Safemode. It stops at the ntoskrnl.exe file and won't go any further. I've run (all updated with latest pattern files): ETrust antivirus Ewido Adaware Ran chkdsk on reboot and it found no errors So whadayathink? That seems odd.Other than my leg is broken I'm fine. It can't be both ways, and there is a definite problem.I would DLoad and install DisKeeper Lite and run it...it is a free VERSION.
