I've just bought my computer last year and this is my FIRST time that i encountered something very annoying... I was just using it then all of a sudden it didn't RESPONDED... I clicked the mouse, nothing happened! I pressed keys on keyboard, nothing happened! Then I turned if off hoping that it would make things up but to no avail! It made a beeping sound instead,without anything on the screen!!! And unti nowl I'm still GOT stuck about it! Please help me... All of my files for my thesis are saved in there! Please, please, please!!! Hope you could help me up. I have to fix it as soon as possible.

with regardsProbably something wrong on the motherboard. RAM poorly seated, card loose,e tc. Did you move it or do anything to it lately?I hope you have backups of everything you really want. WORST case scenario, it's a failed hard drive.

Tell me something, when you TURN it on do you get anything on the monitor at all? Any sign at all that it is booting?
It did three long consecutive beeps. I don't know much of computer thingies but it's Pentium 4. But I'm happy now because I've fixed it up already! It was just a loose mermory card. I've read in here how to deal with it. Thanks a lot! This site is such a good help to those in need like me!
