Exactly, a chipset driver that you don't think applies may apply.

Also make sure that the Windows Audio service is enabled.

As stated here squall even though you may not be aware of it if the chipset driver is not installed first it may botch up other driver installations.

There.....i'm done here now.It works with out it. I dont know if there is or isnt, this is a dell not some that I had made. I never had issues before. I dont know the driver is there an it see's it.Nevermind then...

So why did you make this post pretending otherwise?I have a problem, but there is no problem. If I install PROBLEMS, it may fix my problem but there is not problem to fix.what IUf your not will to help, keep these THINGS to yourself. Cause I dont have an feed/audio from this machine. I install what I had an have the most recent updates for it. There isnt a chipset driver or what not. Should check the main site, but doubt they have the most resent............You should buy a new sound card. Is your sound ONBOARD?You have chipset drivers for your COMPUTER. Do not install most recent drivers, just reinstall THE drivers.
