Answer» No sound through speakers OR headphones. All my drivers are updated and working properly.
It just quit working randomly one day and i have no idea what caused it.
i've also tried reinstalling WINDOWS after it stopped working but that didn't fix it either.Did this happen when you updated the sound driver? or when?, any clues?Well i got a pretty intense virus, had to REINSTALL everything, but it stopped working before all of this happened. i guess i could have dropped it, since i noticed that the headphone jack was jammed in, but i really don't remember ever dropping it.
If the headphone jack is shorting out causing the laptop speakers not to WORK you may want to get the jack replaced before it causes damage to the sound device.
You get no sound at all when booting up ? or when windows STARTS? no beep(s)?Noppee no system sounds or ANYTHING
