Solve : no task manager and no epedit.msc?

Answer»

The message says "Task manager has been disabled by your administrator"

the cure is to run gpedit.msc but my windows home cannot find gpedit.msc

I rely HEAVILY on the alt-control-del option but in this condition I am unable to do it and end up turning the MACHINE off and back on again when a PROGRAM gets
stuck.

I tried running sfc / scannow, and I even reloaded windows but I still have no gpedit.

Any other suggestions on how to get it back?

If you mean XP home, it does not include gpedit. You have to have Pro for that.

The utility on this page MAY help
