What Windows version is it?
Why don't you use Firefox to download IE7?OK I HAVE IE7 INSTALLED.

WHEN I INSTALLED IE7 DID THAT AUTOMATICALLY TAKE OUT IE6?

A FEW TIMES I RECEIVED AN ERROR AND IT WAS ABOUT IE6.

THANK YOU THAT WAS VERY SMART OF YOU TO RECOMMEND ME TO USE FIREFOX BROWSER.

thefonzI still have IE 5 on look at picture. So how do I take this off the computer?

[recovering disk space -- attachment deleted by ADMIN]I still have IE5 on so how do I get it off?

See attachment

[recovering disk space -- attachment deleted by admin]Actually, that's your Windows Version. Not Internet Explorer.

So, even though you installed IE7, you still get an error with IE6?Well no error anymore but should you or not have both? You saw my above attachment.
I go to sys. tools, sys. information and the version says 5.1.2600

so what's the deal where is IE7This prompt came up

[recovering disk space -- attachment deleted by admin]IE7 should have replaced IE6 on the Desktop or whatnot.

The 5.1 is your Windows Version. I have the EXACT same thing.Quote from: thefonz on AUGUST 19, 2008, 09:20:58 PM

This prompt came up
Well it seems you are successful in your INSTALL of Internet Explorer 7. well, ok it's just that there is no other indication that says you are using IE7

I am really confused. No confirmation except that prompt. The whole Internet Explorer Interface should look different.
Also, you can see what version you have under Help --> About.
