Solve : Not able to boot?

Answer»

I lost power durring a system restore.
No boot disc will WORK.
I am getting:
err 5: Error finding VFLOPPY.SYS
err 8: Fake Floppy driver not found
Press any key to boot active partition.

And the computer wont let me enter into setup mode.

How can I save my computer?
Do you have a Windows CD ? ?
Do you know how to enter bios? If so, go in and move the cd drive to the top of the boot order. While there, check to MAKE sure all specified drives actually exist and if not, remove them from the hardware listing (ie, a floppy drive if you don't actually have one). Save your changes and boot to your XP CD and choose the SECOND repair option and do a repair install.I do but it tells me to press enter to boot it and then I the error messages I posted
it wont let me enter bios How do you get into the bios on your system?at the start up screen I press del to enter bios, it just PASSES it up and I get the messiages no matter what I do
Okay. Let's try this. Pull the power cord from the AC supply, then open the system and remove the small silver battery for half a minute. Then replace the battery, close the system and plug it in. Reboot. Can you now get into the bios?

And I'm about to log off, but I'm sure Patio has better ideas than I do.that did not work either
What is the brand and model of your computer?
Tiger Systemax
So pressing Delete willl not get you into the BIOS ? ?
You need to tap it REPEATEDLY for this to work on some machines...
What are you going to do in the BIOS ? ?

There isn't anything in there that will fix a Windows system error. His first post says "no boot disc will work". It may be that he needs to CHANGE the boot order.I am finall in the bios screen after removing the silver battery several times,
what can I do now?
Please help me save my computer

Read my first post above and follow the instructions. Do not make any changes in the bios unless you are certain of what you are doing.
