Tell me how to determine what web browser. If you name some I will know which one. Thank-you. It won't even let me open a e-card(I know it is a safe one) I click on the open button and nothing. Please get back asap, I am missing out on alot of recipes.Thank-you again!!!!!!P.S.

Can give some details on what you deleted?

Do you periodically delete browser history?Yes, I do delete browsing history about once a week. In the Internet Options box-under programs-it says Internet Explorer is my default web browser and the box is checked that says :tell me if Internet Explorer is not the default web browser.
As for what I have deleted, well, I think one thing that I can remember that might be important is some kind of "cache?" I probably messed something up. Please get back to me and help me fix this.
I only delete the browsing history, not any cookies or passwords or the other things in that box.
Thank-you for your help! Are you using Windows XP? Is your Internet Explorer version 6 or version 7? To tell, go to Internet Explorer's Help and choose About Internet Explorer.

I suggest you go a little further with cleaning IE history. Include Temporary Internet files, Cookies, and History. I know deleting cookies may cause some temporary inconvenience when visiting certain sites but I believe you need to do that in this case, for troubleshooting purposes.

If this doesn't work, we'll look at some other things.using Windows Vista-how do I get to Internet Explorers Help? Type in ADDRESS bar? How? Deleted cookies and Temps already.
Thank-you-let me know how to get to Internet Ex help-o.k.?Since you're using Windows Vista, you have IE 7. Apparently, you do not have the Menu Bar SHOWING on IE; that's why you don't see Help. To display the Menu Bar, right click on a empty area of the toolbar area at the top of IE and select/check Menu Bar.

So, you've deleted cookies and no change, right? Let's try this. Download, install, and run CCleaner. Go to http://www.ccleaner.com/download, select Other Builds at bottom of that page, and then select Slim version. Once installed, launch CCleaner and click the Cleaner button at left. Select the Windows tab and check all boxes under Internet Explorer, Windows Explorer, and System; for now, I think you can leave the items under Advanced unchecked. Click the Analyze button at bottom; when that's finished, click the Run Cleaner button at bottom.

Next, click the Registry button in the left pane of the CCleaner window; click Scan for Issues button at bottom. When the scan is finished, click the Fix selected issues button at bottom, right side. When prompted to backup the registry before executing any fixes, do the backup, then have CCleaner fix all items. I find it ironic that deleting cookies won't let you get to a baking site....
Sorry Donna...just trying to lighten things up.

Keep following soybean's advice and we'll get you there.Quote

Maybe, it's cookies revenge....
I apologize, I couldn't resist Soybean
It's me again. Is there anything other than the CCleaner to try? I'm broker so I can not download.
Can you think of anything else?
Thank-you again!Quote from: Donna on December 05, 2008, 08:33:49 AM
I'm broker so I can not download.
... broker? Are you saying this is an office/business computer and you have restrictions on what you can do with it?No, I
am BROKE! Personal computer. CCleaner wants money. No can do.
Any more things I can try?CCleaner asks for donations but that's voluntary. You can ignore the PayPal buttons on their site for making a donation and download without making a donation. The link I posted for you says, "Although this SOFTWARE is free please donate to help support the software and site costs." Again, no donation is required.
