Solve : Not sure if this is an XP thing? |
|
Answer» On the bottom BAR that has your virus program, anti spyware icons etc, everytime I print something it gives me a big reminder (about a 3 inch block) where it is being sent. It lasts about 10 to 15 seconds but is very annoying. Is there a way to defeat it?No, not specific to the XP OS. It is the anti-spy ware program you are using that is TELLING you about everything that is going out of you machine. No, not specific to the XP OS. Does it show print progress and so forth? It just says that it this DOCUMENT has been sent to this printer and then gives a description of the printer and a few other related things..Definitely part of the printer driver. I doubt a AV program would care about printer output. I take it it doesn't provide any options? My lexmark Printer driver provides the ability to hide the window. The Bubba, if you mean you are getting a pale yellow system tray notification, that LOOKS like a speech balloon or bubble in a comic strip, SOMETIMES called a "bubble notification ", that is shaped like the one in this picture: Then see here... How to turn off "Printing Bubble Notification" http://www.answermysearches.com/how-to-turn-of-printing-notification-dialogbubble-in-windows-xp/7/ That's exactly what I'm getting, thanks. |
