Solve : Nothing works or pops up. Except internet explorer.? |

Answer» My laptop is a Windows XP, and for about a MONTH or even longer, there is some kind of virus on here, that I do not know what it is. My applications on the desktop, like songs, this powerpoint I made, a few other programs, all turned to one type of icon, and when I try to open it, it says to search for the file via INTERNET, which then the internet says it is an uknown file. But I am still able to open, internet explorer, microsoft outlook, but EVERYTHING else says that. Also on the control panel, when I try to do the volume, or add/remove programs it won't come up AT ALL. And I need to update my computer, and take files off that aren't needed anymore. |
