it just says error finding nstf file.

You have now spelled this 4 different ways. You are not going to get much help like this. You have been asked for the exact message more than once.

That is what it says.Quote from: pensfan29 on July 28, 2010, 12:44:32 PM
That is what it says.

What, this?

Code: [Select]error finding nstf file.
Word for word, exactly like that including the spelling? Have you seen this yourself?

@pensfan29:

Not to sound like we have OCD, but EXACT spelling counts.

Not EAXCT.

Not ECTAX.

EXACT spelling counts.

If you want this problem to go away, examine every little nook and cranny of the error message. If you get even ONE SINGLE LETTER wrong, we cannot, I REPEAT, CANNOT help you.

Get the exact error message first before posting again. If there's a period, post it. If there's a question mark, post it. Capital letter? Post it. Numbers? Post it. Japanese kana? Post it! Dog slobber? Post it. Splattered bug guts on the monitor? POST IT!

We're not trying to make your life difficult by acting like grade school English TEACHERS, but in this case, it matters. Help us help you. We're technicians, not magicians. We can't just magically make the problem go away. We're not psychic either. We can't see what's on the computer screen or guess what you mean when you're neglecting to get all the information. Don't apologize to the guy. Computer error messages need to be quoted exactly. Nearly won't do. If he can't get that idea in his head this thread is going nowhere. Spinning out threads with changing versions of error messages can begin to smell a bit troll-like. Not saying it is here (yet).
Part of the problem is most people don't generally deal with computer problems. So for most they think that close enough is good enough. Most people that have dealt with problems such as these clearly know that this is not the case. HOPEFULLY this gets resolved and he posts ALL of the error message.
