Answer» Hi all. I have an admin user ACCOUNT that I USE when I'm offline and casual user account for use when I'm online (apparently this is more secure - any opinions on this?). Occasionally, when I log off from the casual user account, I click on the admin user account but no prompt appears meaning I can't enter a PASSWORD to log on. Logging on casual and logging off again fixes the problem. Any ideas anyone?Hi, It sound like your COMPUTER may not be logging you off PROPERLY by not closing all the connections to the user registry hive. I support a large network where we've haven't had the problem you have, but something similar.
