XP - GENERAL INFORMATION - REINSTALLATION - AND - DRIVE CLEANUP GUIDE One day people who use computers for - work - will take preventative measures, prevention being better than cure. This way they learn that simple planned prevention is MUCH easier than laborious and time consuming costly repair. In the Engineering world there are generally two forms of maintenance, preventative maintenance and breakdown maintenance. Preventative maintenance uses skill and dedication to prevent breakdown. Breakdowns occur where skill, dedication, and preventative maintenance have not been applied to the situation which presents itself. In this world there are professionally trained Engineers and non-professional amateurs. It is similar to going to a professional doctor or going to a quack who practises mumbo-jumbo or voodoo. Which would you consider to be better? Personally I would prefer that each computer - maker - has a service forum for serious users and that there shouldn't be - any - 'geeks' - using computers at all. A geek-free planet with no mumbo-jumbo and no voodoo would have to be a better place on which to live. Quote As for Mac what is with you anyway! Adam is asking for help and you respond with an attitude like that! Why don't you get a life and stop responding to the posts if you can't be helpful!!! Quote Nancy O, being a registered member Mac can edit his posts (he got you). You should register to level the playing field. Anybody happen to find a post somewhere? There seems to be one missing from this thread.I think Mac zinged him and then removed the post, which leaves us all wondering. Except for me, cause I saw the zing. (Hence, the response.)I saw the zing, the edit and the final removal. Is that you Merlin? If Nancy ever comes back I hope she registers. |
