Hi, recently I noticed there was an extra system tray icon in windows that I never had before. When I hover my mouse over it, it says "On Ac Power". What does this MEAN? Should I be worried because this never appeared before on my PC.

I think it popped up when I tried my friend's new monitor, I ASSUMED it would go away once I go back to my old monitor but it's still there. I've also done some overclocking and cleaned my computer the inside before this happened but "On AC Power" sys tray icon only appeared after testing my friends monitor.

What is it? Should I be worried? and How do i get rid of it?

EDIT: Also I'm RUNNING Windows XP SP3 and it's up to date, also this is a desktop not a laptop

[attachment deleted by admin]Look in the Power options under either control panel, or SCREENSAVER. There is a box which, when checked, shows the power options in the system tray.You can right click the taskbar->properties->customize->Click on the notification to hide.
