everytime my comp. starts up i get an ERROR message it say:
mimboot.exe entry point not found
the procedure entry point [emailprotected]@[emailprotected][emailprotected][emailprotected]@[emailprotected]@[emailprotected]@[emailprotected]@[emailprotected]z
could not be located in dynamic LINK libray coredll.dll.
roughly thats it. thnxIt is always helpful to know specifics about the computer, operating system and spyware/adware/virus solutions in place and being used, as well as when this problem started and any other changes made at that time. Frequesntly problems are CAUSED by unsafe computing practices.

You need to start by checking for scumware by using AdAware, Spybot and CCleaner (all are free, just google for them) Then GO to trendmicro.com and use the free online virus scanner. When you are sure your system is clean, report back what you have found.im sorry im new to all this. :-/ i am using mcafee virus protection. i think it also has spywar protection. i have a COMPAC presario. the problem started about a week ago, i havent done anything different than usual. sorry about the non specifics.running window xp also using cosmi spyware killer. thanks i will try all of the things listed.i used the applications listed, but using the adware program, it lists all the adware and spyware listed, but doesnt deleted them without buying the program. any other suggestions? thxthank youAdAware and Spybot are free and they remove items they find.
