Solve : One partition doesn't work as it should? |

Answer» Hi,i had to reinstall w2k pro after chnging mb and cpu.After that F: partition of disk(WD 1500 ADFD)has been unusable.Files show up(with dos icons,not their own ones),but i can't execute exe:s,videos,etc.I tried run cmd,but result was "invalid path or filename".Please help,i really need to get all this stuff(10 gb) workingWhen you try to run things through cmd, do you use doublequotes on filenames that have SPACES (i.e. "C:\My Documents")?Tried that also,doesn't help.Tried chkdsk/f too,but didn't help.What about trying start -> run -> "Sfc /scannow" What about trying start -> run -> "Sfc /scannow"You might need the Windows CDThat's true forgot to say that Jonas Run chkdisk on partition F:...do not interrupt it LET it run through. When you right click F: and select Properties how is it being reported ? ?Well,i tried your TRICKS and some other and it works now!Thank's to all |
