Answer» I recently had to do a system recovery on my computer. There are a few files that I am unable to open. I get the following message: Works cannot open........The file MAY be in use by another application, the file format may not be supported by any of the installed CONVERTERS, or the file may be corrupt. Any way of open this DOCUMENT. Or is it gone forever!!!I would say you have corrupted the file with the system restore. WINDOWS does not do a good job of keeping backups and restore points.
