Solve : opening mapped drive file on startup? |

Answer» Using XP Professional with SP2. I want to have a file in a mapped drive open automatically on startup. I have created a SHORTCUT and placed it in the startup folder but the file will not open. I have the same shortcut on the desktop and it will open the file if I click on it. I do have the drive CHECKED to RECONNECT on startup and it is doing that. It's LIKE the network path is not established until I manually connect to SOMETHING in the mapped drive. Any ideas?Check out here |
