Solve : Operation Aborted? |
|
Answer» I was wondering why SOMETIMES I try to go into a website and it says "Internet Explorer cant open the website-Operation Aborted". This happens sometimes and it never happened before. What have you done recently to your PC? @ SteveHyde - Will I lose my browsing history if I upgrade to IE 8? I still get "Operation Aborted" on some of the websites I go to. What should I do next? Should I upgrade to IE 8 or 9? I wont lose my browsing history, will I? Im still getting "Operation Aborted" sometimes. If I upgrade to IE 8 or 9 will I lose my browsing history. I ask this because I will save my files and what not instead of upgrading and losing everything which I have done before. And you're sure it's not the site being down. . . . ?No, all the sites are ok. It just happens sometimes on good websites.I've never seen the operation aborted message visiting a website... I downloaded IE 8 after my computer started freezing. I figured I had to do it. The computer was freezing and operation aborted was still there. I lost the browsing history but I still have it in my search engine. Also, I was able to download some Windows Updates which helped as well. |
