Answer» Are ORIGINAL Operating SYSTEMS like WINDOWS XP and Windows VISTA can only be installed in one computer? If I have 2 computers do I need to buy TWO copies of Windows XP?I read an article about the Volume license. Volume license can only be use up to 5 computers only while the OEM license is for only 1 computer...Am I correct?...Correct me I'm wrong... Here's my question: If I have an OEM license OS can I change the license to Volume license?In simple terms but confusing enough: A retail version (CD) MS policy is one copy = one machine. An OEM liscense (factory installed) is tied to the machine it is installed on. As far as OEM to Volume liscense it can't be done...the volume liscences have to be purchased on their own.
