Solve : OUTLOOK 2000 ALWAYS WANTS EXTERNAL FILE?

Answer»

Outlook 2000 on XP Professional.
When starting up it and without my external drive CONNECTED it gives error message:
Personal Folders
The PATH specified for the file e:\sent020207.pst is not valid.

Some time AGO I EXPORTED my 'Sent Items' to e:\sent020207.pst so as to transfer them to another PC and that worked fine.
However, I do not want the e:\sent020207.pst file or the need to always have the external e: drive always plugged in.
How do I reset Outlook 2000 to stop this?Go to control panel -> Mail

There do you find any .pst pointing to E: in personal folders.
Remove it.
