I have been trying to Install Outlook 2003 on an ACER desktop computer RUNNING XP-Pro.

I continually get the error show in the attachment.

I tried deleting Outlook, then USING Outlook Express I could get the email WORKING. then I reinstalled Outlook from the client apps on our server (as I done before) but no luck.

Any ideas?

"Unable to open your default e-mail forlders. Outlook could not start because a data file OT send and recieve mail could not be found. To add a data file, such as a personal folder file, double-click the Mail icon in Windows Control Panel."

I have tried this and cannot create a new folder.Go to the Start button
Right click over Microsoft Office Outlook
Select: Properties
Look for Setup email accounts and directories
Select: Email Accounts
Select: View or Change Existing E-mail Accounts
Click Next
Look for Deliver New E-mails to the following location and check to see if "Personal Folders" is already there (if not)
Click on the New Outlook Data File button?
Choose Ofice Outlook Personal Folders File (.pst)
