Answer» I have Outlook 2002. I keep a LOT of data in the SAVED folder. The SAVED folder appears to be at the same "level" as my INBOX. I've managed to find the .pst folder by right CLICKING on the INBOX folder, but I'm not SURE that this file contains all of my SAVED information as well. Is there a different extension for the SAVED data? How can I find out what's actually getting saved to the .pst file? I can't get the location of the SAVED file by right clicking, like I can with the INBOX folder....
Additionally, I've tried to do a search for the pab folder (adderess info), but can't seem to locate that.
Please help me! JerolynI also have Outlook 2002 and show no "Saved" folder at all. This must be a folder that someone created.
"How can I find out what's actually getting saved to the .pst file?" You can't just by looking at it.
When you do an export which creates the .pst file, you have many options to save all or particular things. What I would do is export the whole enchilada, then install Outlook on another machine, do an import and see if all is there. It should be.
Alan <>< I believe the ADDRESS book is in a .wab file not a .pab file...but i could be wrong.Alan - thanks for the comment re the "saved" file. I think you're right. I just moved it as a subdirectory under my "inbox" so at least when I save the inbox .pst file, that should be included.
Patio - I've since discovered that the address book is a .pab file, but it's in older VERSIONS of Outlook, not the 2002 that I have.
Thanks to both of you!
Cheers, JerolynYou are most welcome
